Does anyone know which car the rear most position is from?

FAR Right

I know the left is MA61/RA6x series
second right is MA70/MX73/MX62 series

Any other ideas?

MA70 is the most rearward (excluding the whacky setup on the 2JZGE JZA80 W58 - see Norbie's website for some good pics). MA61 has an almost central position.

GT is correct. Here is the pic he's referring to:

This shows an MA61 shfter housing (nearly central) next to a JZA80 shifter housing (WAY rearward).

The above transmissions feature a range of gearshift positions as standard. Measured from the front face of the transmission these are : 18, 20, 21, 21.5 inches.

Hmmm, well, the GA70 is 2nd most left.

I know, coz thats what I am using, so unless the MA70 box is a little bit further forward, I'm guessing they are the same.

It doesnt really matter, the shifter is still coming up through the hole, its just not in the middle anymore.

I'll just deal with it

Thanks
