Corona at Calder 28/1. Info? Sat, 07 February 2004 06:01 Go to next message
Hey,

I saw on Fullboost.com.au a picture of a blue Corona xT14x series that ran on the 28/1/04. I was wondering if anybody on here owns it, or if anyone knows any details on it. I am curious as to what time it ran also.

Thanks!

maybe thats a TT14x 3TGTE model, cause they dont have that front end here, and look at the size of the rears, i doubt its be a 2S-C with them tyres

Looks like it has the 2.0 badge on the guard there, but like you I highly doubt it is the 2S-C engine. Probably a 3T-GTE or a 1GGTE conversion?

I'm keen to know!

probably, maybe he bought the grill off a import, or is an import with a aus-spec "2.0 Super responsive" badge for the sleeper look.

That "2.0 Super Responsive" badge is an ST141 item.

The 1GGTE is a relatively easy fit but not the simplest of conversions. I don't know much about the TT142, but i was of the understanding thet they were 2-door (or were they just available in a 2 door as well)?
