With the twin solex carbys that come standard with the 18rg, do you need to have trumpets inside of an air box (home made) or can you just bolt up the air box with out the trumpets. And does anybody know what to use to measure fuel level in the fuel bowls. Also can anyone point me in the right direction of how to tune them.

Thnx
glenn

its not essential to have the trumpets but they do make a difference, unifilter does them fairly cheaply, maybe less than $100 for four from memory.

I used to have a nice little book on the solex, i think i gave it to my cousin.. ill try and get it back and see what its got on tuneing.

if you need any parts let me know... ive got a box full of bits and pieces.
