why is it wrong? yeah sure the accent can sometimes be cringeworthy but at least they address issues in their music(most of the time).
American hip hop...about 90% imo is self serving egotistical crap. Dont get me wrong, i do like some american hip hop but i think aussie hip hop looks outside the square...its not all about making money and looking cool.
Almost everything that comes out of america these days comes off the production line...although aussie hip hop doesnt always have the same elaborate beats and rhymes you know it's the artist 100% and not just some big wig telling a guy what to sing because it sells
meh, thats just my opinion

Just off the top of my head I can't think of many American groups that don't fit the above comments. Jurassic 5 is one band that I think is a really good American rap/hip hop.
Most of the other stuff is not hip hop but hip pop.

well they dont make money, and dont look cool, they just look like d*ikheads trying to rap, i remember listening to a bias b album "beezwax 98"(i think thats it) all i herd was how he grew up graffing on the hurstbridge line, all the beats were gay and ever had train noises in the background, aussie hip hop is S*hit...
