i have put a 18rgeu in my ta23 celica using a ra40 crossmember. the engine and gearbox line up but the gearstick hole is out. is this normal and can i just cut a hole in the floor. can i use a ra40 tail shaft in it also.
I put an RA48 box in my RA23 and the shifter didn't line up properly, but a small amount of "adjustment" of the transmission tunnel soon solved that. It sounds like your box came out of an RA40 or some other non-xA23 chassis.
