I am trying to "girlfreind proof" my car Very Happy and would like to know if there is any way to regulate boost via the cabin.

I want to be able to restrict boost to 5psi.

Is there a bleed valve i can use? or can you change the bleed off pressure on the 4agze supercharger?.

The idea of her (a once a week driver used to a 40kw celica) in peak hour traffic in sydney on parramatta road with 12or so PSI scares me.....

I also have my car valet parked about once a week for business dinners. When i get my car back there is some times i get the feeling the car has been thrashed around the block a few times.

lemmie know if you have any ideas.

as for the parking. go get a rev limiter and set it up for 3,000rpm and just flick the switch when u get out that way they can't thrash the car

What is the minimum settingof your wastegate actuator?

You wont be able to turn the boost down to below that figure anyway.

Most cars this is 7-8 psi +

Re the car valet..there was an article in SMH a few weeks back giving secrets of car valets written by one.
Apparently, the real perks or high points of the job is to rev the sh*t out of prestige & high performance cars eg. hit what max
speed down the ramp and pull up just before hitting the brick wall!!! Where else could you get your jollies thrashing Porches and other exotic and souped up machines?
After reading the article, I vowed never to hand over the keys to these guys, ever.

mate the only way you can change the boost on a blower is the size of ya crank pulley. or you could put a switch on the s/c clutch,(have it where only you know) it's very doughy then. or you could just teach your girl how to drive a blown car? it could be a exciting experience Grin

park it yourself!

i agree with feralmr2 just whack a relay operated by a switch in the cabin to stop the clutch on the supercharger! presto

TOYO3T superchargers work differently to turbo's, that's why there is no lag, its either boost or no boost that's set by the crank circumference.
