Does anyone know if the damper/guide plate at the end of the timing chain tensioner is interchangable between 18RG and 2TG engines please ?
These are the part numbers supplied by a mate of mine:
2T-G, 2T-GR 13559-88220
18R-G, 18R-GR, 18R-GU 13559-88230
All help appreciated.
Thanks,
Mitch.

88230 is the 18rg head no, is 88220 the 2t head? (should be cast into if like the 18) the first part no is the part itself. I was told by a toyota spares guy that induvidual parts are numbered and have a suffix of the assembly part they go into. ie: 13559 is the tensioner plate and 88220 or 88230 is the head assy it goes into. I don't know if this means the part is the same or the part no is the same but the actual part is different.
