Does the KE70 corolla have recirculating ball, or rack & pinion steering? Also, is the clutch hydraulic or cable?
I'm trying to figure out if an AE71 engine crossmember is a direct bolt in.
Thanks in advance

KE71 has rack+peanut. KE70 has cable clutch, AE71 has hydraulic. Yup, the crossmember will bolt in

Do you mean KE70 has rack+peanut? I gather the hydraulic clutch assembly can still be bolted into a KE70?
Thanks

yes and yes. The TE71,72 are the only ones that used recirculating turd steering. Thank God!
