changing ma61 dash to sa63

I am going to take the electronic dash out of my ma61 and put in an sa63 one i have. Can someone tell me what i need to do/ change and what parts i need. Im doing this so i can use a tach adapter with relative ease, also because it has a amp-gauge.

It will physically bolt right in, but the plugs are different so you'll have to splice the SA63 plugs (four of them from memory) into your MA61 loom. Fiddly but not too difficult if you have SA63 and MA61 wiring diagrams handy.
Oh and you can kiss your cruise control goodbye if you do this.

Another thing to remeber is that the sa63 dash will be with a tacho for a 4cyl, whereas the AM61 is for a 6cyl.
I'm facing a slightly different challenge in that I am putting a MA61 Analog dash from a Singaporean MA61.
From comparing the two wiring diagrams in the Mk2 TSRM, it will be fun as the plugs and cct logic don't quite match up (I'm mechanical based not electrical) but it will be some fun for the future
Keep me informed, and I may even be able to help/swap notes

the tacho for a 6 is no good to me anyway, as mie is an 8 cylinder.
Norbie, mine was bought out as a manual, so didnt have cruise control anyway! Phew...
