ST162 front seats Thu, 12 February 2004 07:05 Go to next message
I'm after a pair of Celica 86-89 front seats, in light grey with herringbone (zigzag //\\//\\) pattern. The sports bucket seat version (with tilting headrest) is preferred, but the standard one is ok.

Yeha Rob the tilting headrests are on the sports bucket version, you know like the ones from the GT4 that look like supra seats...........

Yep, full height bucket seats with integrated headrest -- slides up and down and tilts -- like the seats on the Supra. They are very rare. The problem is that because you get more body friction with the bolstered seats, the fabric wears out quickly.

I think they came with the cruise control option. The latter has 3 buttons embedded in the bottom spoke the steering wheel. It's cool. Smile

I'll post some pictures if I get around to taking them.

dude I don't think that is exactly the case. I have cruise control. A button + a little flicky button on the right hand spoke of the steering wheel (different than what you described), and I don't have those seats... Sad

I know the cruise arrangement you are talking about. Older Mark 3 supras with cruise had those buttons and those seats... Confused
