Fuel pump return line?

Hi all,
The 21R (carb'ed) im putting in my corona has a mechanical pump (off the cam shaft) that has a tank return line.
The problem is the corona doesnt have a line running back to the fuel tank.
Can i just block it off, or will this damage the fuel pump?
Any other ways around this?
Thanks.

You need to install a return line if you're using that pump. Otherwise you can swap the pump for one that doesn't need a return line. I think facet pumps fall into this category?

Hmmm.
Im wondering if i can use the tank -> charcoal canistor emissions line for the return.
As far as i can tell, its just a pipe that leads back to the top of the tank.
Any comments on this?

Well I can confirm that the fuel return line is simply one that runs to the top of the tank to return unused fuel.
I don't know the corona so I can't help any more.
