Any one know what the largest rims that you can legally put on a RA6x celica in nsw??

that's a 2" increase (which is the largest legal without engineering) - I'm pretty sure thius is right, but I checked up on it years ago - it's in the ADRs if you can be bothered looking

Actually they don't care about the diameter of the rim, provided the overall wheel diameter is close to original. 17" rims are fine provided you use super-low profile tyres. Can't remember the rule for width, but I think it's 2" wider than stock?

Yeah thats what i've been able to gleen from the rta website.
i'm hoping to get a set of 16x8s on the back and 16x6s on the front...
but i'm willing to pull the ohrse up short if it means that I've got to get the damn thing engineered.
spose the question is what was the largest rims that they cam out with from the factory really.

Largest in Australia was 14x5.5, but in other parts of the world they came with 14x7. I guess it depends which one the RTA is interested in.
