1GZE conrods into 1gfe Thu, 08 August 2002 15:36 Go to next message
I was wondering if the 1gze conrods would fit into the 1gfe engine.
Thank-you

1GGZE conrods are the same length as 1GGE, only thicker. I would think that the same would apply to 1GFE.

VEry expensive if you bought them new I would expect. A 1GGZE minus blower should only set you back a couple of hundred though. Just ring around the engine importers.

ok thanks for the advice..
found JE forged pistons (new) and 1gze conrods for my car $1440 in total. I think it's a good price.

there was a shop in brisbane that planned on turbocharging their is200 as well, everything was ordered. but in the end the guy decided to ditch the 1gfe and installed a 2jzgte into the is200. So the pistons and rods are useless to him now.

I was just wondering, don't all Lexus motors come with forged pistons anyway? Part of Lexus metallugry standards or something...
