If you're after a simple bolt-in swap, a 2T-G is the way to go. You can also build an 1800cc 3T/2T-G hybrid if you want to go to that trouble. An 18R-G will probably be a bit of a squeeze in your engine bay but it could be done. Why don't you want to do a R&P conversion? Apparently it's fairly simple to do using KE70 parts.

Thanks again norbie, always a good source of info. About the Rack and pinion, its not that i dont want to, just extra stuff id like to avoid, if it came to it, id do it no worries.

you have no options other than a 2tg or 2tg3t hybred as it sound like you dont want to spend alot of money. i wouldnt go 18rg as youll have to change all your mounts and if you do that i dont think youll get much more power if any over a 2tg3t.

why do you need to convert to R&P for a 4AG? You dont need to change the whole engine crossmember, I have a set of custom made 4AG - T18 engine mounts you could buy that would bolt it straight up to your current crossmember ...
