Heya bud,
Looking at buying a UHF handheld... Checked out a nice 2W unit at Dick Smiths... Recommend going for this power or the 1W better value?
Most of the guys in Melb seem to have the cheap 0.5W things So I could chat to them but not receive anything yeah? maybe I could say click twice for YES or something

jabtronic... not to be rude, but there is no way possible that the knobend you spoke to can beat my price......
$85ea would be considered a rip-off from me.
Here's another thing, please do not hijack a thread that has been directed to me personally - i take that to be highly rude.
Now intertia, i will be getting home 2nd March (1.5 weeks), and should be able to sort something out for you then. Otherwise i could sort something out through my proxy service before then. PM me with a reminder and ill give you a price then.

Jeez sorry dude.. no need to get all offended about it.
I'm not trying to hijack your thread. I was only pointing out the fact that the 'knobend' is offering the handheld $10 cheaper than Jaycar. Unless you work for Jaycar I can't see any harm in that.
Also I said nothing about him beating your price...
If you sell them cheaper than $85 shipped then that's great, I have approx 8 mates including myself that are keen to buy some.

Yes i work for Jaycar, and have wholesale purchasing power for prices well below what anyone in the public can get.
