No No No No No No No No No

Well, I was slowly crawling thru the centre of Salisbury today, Its a 20km zone, And i was about to turn right, So i wait and let a pedesstrian cross then start to take the corner, About 5kms if that, No cars coming, 2 seconds later i hear a skid, a bang then i look foward and see a copper jumping off his bike as it goes under my car!!!

WTF, where the fuck did he come from?!?!?!

He was on an Avanti Pushie worth apparently 1500 (not surprising really)

But he was a bit of a wanker, I admit i was in the wrong, but he was still a bit narky, Whih i can 'now' understand

But its $800 excess for me Sad but on the plus side, I think the crash shop will have a fun time matching the paint, which was custom, About 5 years ago SmileSmileSmile

Does that mean they'll spray half the car or the full car or anything?

I love comprehensive

Well that was a bit of a worry, It was like 3:30pm and all the school kids were out and laughing, which WAS a bit rude!

Ahh well

Hang on, I thought all cop cars always paid on claims??? Even if you hit them. Some rule about cop cars always paying for damage to other cars. Wouldn't this apply to their bikes also???

Honestly - cops on a pushie. Embarassing for them and us.

Best of luck,

lumpy.

was it a pedestrian crossing? and was he riding across it? if he was riding across it he was in the wrong as bike riders have to dismount their bike before crossing the road at a pedestrian crossing or traffic lights or whatever.

Well i will ask around and see if they do always pay on claims?

Surely hope so, Coz that $800 was all i needed to finsh my sound system off Sad

Celica_ra40: no it was basically a 20km/h road, He was coming from the opposite direction that i was....And he was far left, i THINK i mistook him for a pedestrian, But anyway! who the fuck flies thru an intersection, Car or bike? I know when i drive i stop at ALL intersections, even if the other cars have to give way, Just to make sure

U know what sucks, If i hadnt let that pedestrian cross, I would have avoided him Cry Cry Cry

Will ask about that claim paying though

Cheers

If you need to have the paint colour matched go see Bob or Graham at All Type Paints on Saints Road in Salisbury. Tell them Scott sent ya and they will look after you.

The whole car will not need to be resprayed. just the panel and surrounding areas would need to be flicked in.

Any problems let me know
