When I had my 18R-G it wasn't.
It may look different, but it still may fit. If worst comes to worst, try rotor button and dizzy cap, or the whole dissy itself ?
Cheers

There are two types of 3K dizzi caps too,
I think the later one is fit for early 18RG,
Does you rotor button have the resistor in it or is it just brass?
my has the resistor in the button and i've had trouble with it,
I am all so running a optical pick up connected to the rotor button. I have never seen another one like it yet.
