Whatever you do, do it right. So many of these I've seen done horribly (pump just shoved in line with the old carby fuel system, same old hoses, everything, and sucking up through the original hole). Despite what people say, it WILL fail eventually, and you'd NEVER do this on a turbo engine

I believe all Commodore VL fuel pumps are the same part number.

I have a vn commodore pump and baffles welded in standard sprinter tank and a larger inlet line.
Works fine, didnt cost much either.

I ended up using 12mm inlet fuel line, thou ive heard its not needed to upgrade the standard 8mm (i think its 8mm) line, its up too you really.
Just a local metal fabrication place did the welding, labour was around $200, new line was $70 and around $100 for the fuel filter, clamps and small sections of hose and the tank and pump.
I think from memory i only paid $50 for the tank and pump.
Hope it helps.
