Nark---> It will be leaving Japan soon, I plan on having it here in a few weeks. I'll throw you a deal though, if you want it in Manual, I'l throw in a full RZ Getrag 6 speed conversion kit for only $1000. I'd need to know soon though, as I'd have to organise shipping of the gearbox ect...
incase anyone asks.... no, you can not buy the gearbox kit serperate... with the car only...

Sorry mate, but if you read the original for sale post, it says "possible trade for high end sports car"
No offence, but your 1989 celica sort of does not fit that category. Please dont take this the wrong way, but surely you understand what I am saying.

Conquest--->
They come up about every day
If anyone is still interested in buying a Supra, even a cheaper one, let me know, as Japanese Import Parts is more than happy to help you source a car. We specialise in Supras, from 1988 through to 2002.
Alchemist--->
Exactly.... The deposit is coming on monday, so assuming that it all goes well, its new owner will be importing it ASAP.

$35K should have you set up nicely in a decent RZ Manual TT.
It also depends on being in the right place at the right time, and ensuring you pick up a bargain, that is in excellent condition as well.

Hey Kristian,
I'm dead serious about a JZA80. Prefer manual, but I can live with an auto (until I can convert it over) if the car is in good nick.
Keep me in the loop if you find any other JZA80s.

When they each land in Australia, make sure you give me a yell!
I'm undecided over which one I like more! I want a manual, but 3 years and VVTi are great drawcards!

The 1999 VVTi is the only one still available, and I am currently in negotiations with someone who wants to trade in their R34 Skyline for it with cash adjustment coming to me as well........ Chances are it will be sold before it even gets to australia, all my cars usually sell before they even leave Japan, and there have only been good reports so far.........

Dude, if you want to start a business like this, you need money, and lots of it. I am being honest with you, and straight forward.
If you want to take it on as a full time thing, you need lots of money.
If you dont have any money up your sleeve, its not worth it.
I sold a supra, and put $15,000 cash up front into my business. Over the next few months, I put in more than twice that. And that was doing it the hard way.
Oh, and another thing ..... if you dont have contacts in Japan, no amount of money in the world would help you.
