That 14 pin plug doesn't really wire into the engine loom, thats why it isn't part of it..
It's for power, circuit open relay, and things like AC and gauges etc.. Most the wires are not used.

when u say power does that mean, constant power for lets say memory? or just acc power?
Is the circuit open relay the little black box that came with the ecu?
What is it used for? i dont have the plug for it..
I hate wiring its making me stressed, as i have a perfectly good engine but little idea of how to wire it up!
How much do u think a sparky would charge me to hook it all up?

hey ryan...
its not that hard... its not piss easy, but its easyier than what you are thinking....
you need to know these wires Start signal, which is te black and white wires coming out of the ignition switch
and the ON signal which is the black and yellow wire....
its hard to explain over the net, mines still not completly covered in tape yet so if you want to look at mine give me a call and you can come over and have a look.. i can tell you which exact wires go where as i've just finished mine started up nicely... on the second go...

this is what i did to get a proper 100kw wiring diagram
i went to the local libary, that has got the corrolla ae92 models, in the back there is a wiring diagram for the 4age, i photocopied that, that tells you which wires go where and exactly were they go...., its quite easy to read....
you won't be able to tell jack all from a photo of the wiring as, wiring does go into the cabin and you can tell which is which by a photo

wiring is actually really simple, since all you have to do is connect a wire here and a wire there.
you need to sit down with the wiring diagram for the motor, and one for the car, and work out what needs to go where..
do it all logically and methodically and write everything down.
if you 'have a go' then get a sparky to sort out your mess, it will cost you 3 or 4 times as much, since it is easy to do from the beginning, but hard to work out what someone else has done
if you are concerned, i'd be PMing Sideshow at least he has done it before and knows what goes where
