I've done it - but it's a tight fit!
You will ahve to buy a complete half cut (about $2000) and use the gearbox, etc from that. No it does not bolt in (very few engine conversions do), but the gearbox should bolt to the floor, the shifter should come up in the right spot and the tailshaft be the perfect length!
You will need to move the top radiator outlet and make some slight modifications to the inlet pipe - other than that it fits fine. I suggest that you take care with the clutch master cylinder line as I slightly bent mine with the turbo when putting it in.

Also, go to a wrecker and get the brake calipers/pads/rotors off an RA60 Celica - they slip straight on and are bigger

everyone getting 1g's in there coronas
hey 7m-brisbane how much of a difference are the brakes off the ra60 compared to the corona ones?

i have done it and cost me about $7000 so far and its still on stands and unreg
but i changed everthing diff tail shaft
the bigest head ace
