So, this is the solid axcel disc rear end from an Ma4x, that came out of an RA60 that had an 4M conversion? The second part doesn't make sense but the first bit does.

No celica ever had an M-series standard AFAIK... no celica EVER came with a 6 cyl from the factory, period. The ones with M-series are Ma6xs....ie Supras. Imported versions had R, T, or S series engines. Do you have any photos? I'm not interested in the rear end now thta I know it is solid axcel, but I'm curious about the car!

I think you just confused everyone with the "R" in front, as the first letters(s) in a toyota model code denote the engine type. I didn't know early A6 jap supras came with solid axcels, interesting.

Guys, you don't seem to get it. A "Celica Supra" is a Supra. The Mk1s & Mk2s were build on the same chassis before the 2 lines diverged with the mk3, but no celica ever came with a 6.

Or a sunshade Your rear end is most likely from an MA45/46 Supra/Celica XX. There were no live axle Mk2 Celica XX's, nor did any of them come with 4M's.
