Hello just wanted to check if there is a under bonnet cover thing for the RA2x celicas? Did they come with one from factory? Or has anyone had any luck fitting one from another model car?

joel these things help promote rust i'd be a bit suss on the idea. i know of a couple of carpet places than sell them fireproof and all that, cut it down to size and velcro/adhere to underside of bonnet.
The neatest way i think to do this is too buy some of that heat resistant mat which is sticky one side. You can get from Autobarn etc. its a big sheet and u cut it to size, i bought some of that, cut it to fit the underside of the bonnet inside the ribbed bits. You can barely see it and it will protect my bonnet paint from the heat off the intercooler plumbing which runs extreemly close to the under side of the bonnet.
Gold28, yeah mate sorry was a bit of a Friday question... Been one of those weeks!
Thanks all for the suggestions. What Grega says about promoting rust isn't a good thing.
I did have a good paint job on underside of the bonnet but the turbo made a mess of it. I was thinking to neaten it up the underbonnet cover thing would be good.
