Hey Peeps,
Has anyone seen these rotating chrome wheels on cars?
The ones that rotate when the car is stationary?
I seen some on a FTO and a MRS the other day... I was shocked to even know that they exisited.... anyone know of any websites that sell these rims?

Tempe tyres sells them and I think they start at about 18".
They are an attachment that bolts onto the outside of a deep dish rim. You do have to buy the rim seperate.
All they do is attach to the studs on your deep dish rim and spin freely. thay are very trippy to watch
Not sure what they are worth

They are bolted too a deep dish rim, so no they wont come off, and there are 2 types, the bolt on ones, and the other is a giant bearing on the inside of the rim that the plate spins on(they are the 1 piece)

they had a whole bunch of them on show at the drag combat yesterday, they look good as a rim and are trippy cause when the car was moving the rears were stationary and the front were moving
they are made of plastic so u could stop them with the end of your dick, and i think a bird would be fucked if it hit your rim at speed neway

No they arent, mabey the cheapo hubcap bolt on ones are, but the proper full wheels are all alloy, or what ever they are made off.

Eww... spinners
IMO they only look good in rap video clips lol I've seen a couple of cars with them though... New VW beetle (Didn't suit whatsoever, but the girls driving it were nice ), New XR6 turbo, new Audi A4 (shame!) and a Bimmer X5.

The gayest, most rooted single additive to come out of the wheel/tyre industry. As was mentioned, it's a BIG hazard, people are being pulled over and defected, not a problem to remove for the pits, but still why keep gettin into shit with cops?
They look incredibly gay.....they're absolutely fukd, and only look "not out of place" on big american trucks, like ram's and so on. Any other car not worth a second look. Sad to think that some people are attracted to these (no offense to any1 who may be). Initially you curiosity wants to learn more, but once you realise, it's just another new chrome piece of shit on the block. Ban them I say!

I saw a set on an r33 skyline the other day, black paint job, orange flame airbrush job, big chrome wheels while i was getting petrol. And i have to say im not impressed, the front "discs" were spining faster than the rear ones, and the whole thing seemed a bit excessive to me.
