I would like to know how to remove water pump impeller(or rotor) inside the housing ...I figured you need some sort of special tool to get it out.. but I don't know where to source it .. Any info would be appreciated ....
Its easier and cheaper just to replace the whole front housing about $40 usually. It is not recommended to just replace the impeller as you usually have to heat up the shaft to get it apart (its a heat press fit I believe) which means you destroy the seals trying to get it apart and you can also warp the housing.
