Re: SA62 struts into RA23

When investigating a brake upgrade some 3-4 years ago, I noted that the SA6x/RA6x lower control arm, was of a different length, and has a different strut attachment pattern, which prevents it from bolting up to an TA22-23/RA23-28. So no they wont fit.
Sorry, regards Chuck.

The SA63 struts are a direct bolt-in, but you will end up with weird camber problems. There are ways around this, each with their pros and cons - for example you can bend the struts or use longer control arms.
The other option is to keep the RA23 struts and adapt the SA63 brakes to fit. The hub/disc assembly is a direct bolt on but you need to fabricate a bracket to mount the caliper on the strut. This is the option I chose on my RA23; it's a little bit of screwing around to make the bracket but at least you know the suspension geometry hasn't been screwed with.

Yes, my web host has decided to play silly buggers with all of their paying customers.
Me: Where the hell did my web site go??
Webhost: We just upgraded to Windows 2003 servers. We were going to tell you but we "lost" your contact details. Again.
Me: So why didn't you copy my stuff to the new server?
Webhost: You didn't ask us to.
Me: <slaps forehead> Fine, can you copy my stuff now?
Webhost: (days later) Sure, there you go.
Me: Woohoo!
Me: (a couple of days later) Where the hell did my web site go??
Webhost: <silence>
Graaagh!!
