T18 crossmember bolt into TA22??

Did a search, but had no luck..
Does a T18 (TE72) engine crossmember bolt directly into a TA22??
I have a T18 crossmember, modified to suit a 4AGE, and am wondering if it could be swapped into the '22.

Hi there Phil, I think the dimensions between chassis rails are different. Give me a call with the T18 measurements, and I will run a roll of numbers across the 22.
And yeah, If thats the way you are headed, 22, welcome to the Celica fold!

Thanks chuck, i'll get the tapemeasure out.
I think its more likely that i'll stick to a corolla, but we'll see what happens

nope sorry mate it wont fit. it will be to short. i have a ta23 crossmember that should fit a ta22 if you interested. but the t18 will not fit a rolla

The T18 crossmember does not fit a TA22, or KE30, or anything else except a TE72, KE70, AE70, and maybe a AE86.
I bought a T18 member once and tryed.
Fitting a 4A-GE in a TA22, will be easy, the engine mounts come cloase I think and will only need moding lightly.

thats what im saying. it wont fit a ta22. it will fit a rolla. Why do u need one for a ta22. i have a t23 one if interested but not sure if its the same a ta22 one.
