I live in the Inner West so it probably wasn't my car, but yep they all look the same with the Sportivo kit and the front mount IC etc.

actually there were about 116. it wasn't for WRC purposes, as the car is still in FWD format. it was to test out market reaction to the Sportivo branding.

I thought it just didn't sell because it was priced near the wrx/evo bracket and had no chance of competing? could be wrong wouldn't mind the engine to replace my dads 7afe though

thanks!
yeah, it was initially priced really close to the WRX so it didn't sell well at all. toyota then dropped the prices to around $30k and they started moving. that's why i reckon the new base model corolla sportivos were placed in the sub $30k bracket.
oh.. there were rumours that the package was made by TOM'S and it might still be available for the 7AFE in bolt-on-kit form ...... hmmmmmmmmm!
