Does anyone know if there is such a thing as GT Celica bonnet vents and where I could get some?? and is it possible to make an LT Celica look similar to a GT?? because I am so in love with them and I want my TA22 LT to look like one, it already has a GT engine, but the body is just standard with an added front spoiler so what else would I have to add?? Kristy Look around for a ST TA22 they have the same bonnet vents as the GT also if you can't find any GT bit the next best is the badges and grill of the ST .
the bonnets for the GT and LT are the same - the vents just covered further along the bulge that ran down either side of the bonnet .. more cnace of rust IMHO ..
I sold a set of slightly tatty GT vents 2 yrs ago for $150 dollars - so dont expect them to be cheap when you find them - IF you can find them
Im now sourcing GT parts from the US and across australia - in HOPE that ill eb able to make boulds of the badges in particular for other enthusiasts who want to make their LT's lok alikes ..
I already have the LT ST AND the GT badge for the 71 ta22 ( when the person who has it contacts me ) so ill hopefully have means soon ..
Also sourcing a GT grill from the states - they are non obtainable here in OZ as far as i know for 71-74's .. Ill keep you posted if i find others for sale ..
