Been told that if oil spits out when you have your oil cap off while car is idling, means your engine is no good this true?

just take a look at a 5me, the timing chain sits just under the cap.

K motors spit oil as the rockers are under the cap.
what you should have been told is that if SMOKE is coming out of the filler cap then there is significant ring wear and blowby.
take a rifle and shoot the person who keeps telling you these things
