everyone has pretty much seen it years ago before it was dubbed in english..
watch the original edit [in jap with subs] [which i'm pretty syre is included on the dvd's].. don't bother with the crap american dubbed version.
Great story and action. just remember it's just a cartoon

Do your self a favour and dont let your eyes and ears ever experience the dubbed version of this anime. The japanese version with subtitles is on a whole different level to the pos dubbed version. Luckily enough, this version actualy is included on the dvd's but its also available on kazaa/bittorrent/dc etc

i downloaded every episode and i got 56k  , one a night  , its pretty cool but FAR FAR FAR FAR FAR FETCHED, any of you seen that jap car movie " GO GO GO" ? it was made in 96, real good

It's a comic, so no animation.
But ahh, when you read it make sure you read right to left, otherwise you will get confused like I just did.

no.. right to left everything. japanese read right to left as we all know, so there's no way they'd make the frames go right to left, but then make the voice bubbles go left to right (order of the voice bubbles, not the content of them).
over rev is great, it's real good fun watching a hack like the main character go from knowing nothing, to throwing herself into it and learning everything. my kinda girl 
by the way, Initial D 4th Stage is out this year in japan, should be fansubbed not long after

Yeah your right. I was getting really confused reading that. Wah my poor head. Anyway, yes. Right to left everything. Very confusing.
Still a fun read. Makes me wanna write a comic about street racing. I have some character sketches done up from last time I wanted to do it. Perhaps this time I will.
