WHats the deal with this conversion?
I have been told by some if you get an MR2 3SGTE halfcut it goes pretty much straight in.
But then I have been told by others it would be a bitch of a conversion and would take a shitload more work and cost a shitload more than a GZE conversion.
Is there anyone in here that honestly knows??
Please Help??

its possible - but it would cost you a packet to do ..
seriously if you want forced induction - persue a 4agze/gte conversion ..
at least the motor family is the same and parts are semi interchangable..

Totally agreed, why? you'll need to fabicate the front ,rear, left and right mounts to suit. You'll need to lean the engine back further in the bay to clear the bonnet. Brakes will need to be a custom job as on my Rally car ie lob everything off and weld on new brakets as standard ones will not cope. There is a couple of AE82 that have this conversion, and they weren't for the average joe to do at home and I know of an SX AE92 with a Beams version used for IP Racing. It can be done, but how much do you want to pay (me )? Secondly is yours a series 1 or series 2 AE102? There are minor differences in the suspension. Truefully AE101 GZE and Turbo will be more than impressive and will bolt straight in, even the Brakes will fit.
