howdy,
pretty soon i gotta get a new gearbox and wondering is it that easy just to swap a 4 speed for a 5 speed? if not what do i have to do, any documentation out there?
and would i need any new things to buy with it or just the gearbox?

oh and on another note what other gearboxes would slip into my car with no hassel?

4 speed to 5 speed is usually staright foward. Sometimes there is a difference in the throw out bearing. Might wanna check that out first.

What model? Easiest gearbox to slot in depends on the model.
RT104 - W50.
XT130 (model with thew illustrious Starfire motor)- maybe some POS Bog Warmer 5 speed.
*T140 series - W5x or a Bog Warmer depending on the motor.
