I just want to find out what Camcorders and software ppl use to upload and edit their videos??

I just bought a Sony DCR-TRV19e for my up coming holiday and its pretty good for general use which is all i need at the moment, but it doesn't seem to good for uploading to the computer or editing on the computer software that came with it is Image mixer 1.5

Apple has had iMovie for quite some time now - and if your apple has a built-ion DVD burner, you can run iDVD.

if you want pro software, go for Final Cut Pro (or Express).

any camera that has a firewire (sonly call it iLink) intrerface can be captured to a Mac with a firewore port - which is blue+white G3 onwards.

... if your PC then get Adobe Premier.

there's probably a bittorrent copy listed on suprnova.org

firewire v.good for capturing Dvideo - tho if your drive can't keep up with it you'll still enter the world of dropped frames...
