i think that once you're competing in the sub-5 second drag monster bracket ... it's assumed you're running a nitromethanol powered Keith Black or similar aluminium, several-thousand horsepowered, monster V8 - and you have the cash (from sponsors like USA Toyota) to have a supply of blocks, heads, internals, gearboxes, chassis, wheels, fuel, etc to consume or destroy at every meeting.

So going on that theory, I spose this car is powered by Big Macs? . Actually, it would have to be a big 20 pack of Nuggets to keep up with Toyota's 4AGE front wheel drive Funny Car. .
And yes, most motors are keith black motors, which I would have explained to you if you didnt know much about Funny Car engines and if you didn't reply like an Asshat.

I think you will find like most motorsport classes Top Fuel is restricted in the motors they can use. Everyone basically runs the same block (replica 426 Hemi's with significant strengthening as you would expect) with restrictions on superchargers etc. There are also limits like 2 valves per cylinder etc. Mind you at 6,000hp alot of the flash technology just doesn't really help.
Basically the cars are rolling billboards, no one expects to be able to walk into a showroom and buy one. But subconciously if you get the Toyota emblem flashed past you often enough it will have an impact, ezpecially if its winning.

thay make closer to 7000-7500hp now, they run 500ci blown 2V, twin magneto, KB's, 9500rpm, nitro, ect
NO gearbox's, just go and reverse.
that 1UZ is an immaculate peice of gear,
btw, a guy in WA has run 5.99 in his latered with a small block chev
