yes, the 4agze E58-11c is one of the FWD LSD boxes that is quite strong.

The new zzt231 celica TRD sports M version comes with a helical LSD in a c60 box. Cars are very rare though... I've never seen one in Australia.

Is it possible to mount the E58-11c up with a 3sge (st162) as i imagine the TRD LSD would be pricey as and very hard to find. Would this even prove much of an advantage in handling and driving?

Look for one from an MR2 Turbo with LSD can't remember what the box is called. Also some of the st202 celica's in Japan came with LSD too. These boxes would be and easier fit to your st162.

Yeah, st162 with 3sge. Is it like hookin up all other mr2 boxes to it?Might have to shorten some arms or levers/cables or whatever but thats it? I take it these boxes are pretty storng as well, being from an Mr2T.
Noticable changes to driving anyone?

yeah man I wouldn't bother with it, the pain to hook up an MR2 Turbo box to a 3SGE just wouldn't be worth it, as most people who do the 3SGTE swap know about it, first you need the box, very exey for an LSD one, then you need to use the linkages off the celica box, don't think the s series boxes will fit I have been told that GT4 ones will because it's e series, the bellhousing will fit fine, you'll also need MR2 driveshafts and attach your celica outer CV's to the MR2 driveshafts. and then you should be able to put the gearbox in. but for a 3SGE it is alot of work and cost for not that much gain cause it's n ot like the 3SGE puts out insane FWKW's

some n/a sw20 mr2's had lsd's (i have one in my mr2) very rare.

the box is a s54, and will litrally bolt in place of your existing box. linkages will bolt on - but you will probably find the st162 ones may be a tad different to the st182/202 linkages - might need minor mods.

failing that, you could buy an aftermarket or trd item
