The 18R-GU is a twincam engine and it comes with twin sidedraught Solex carbs from the factory. Coronas were released with this engine but not in this country, so this car is either an import or someone has done an engine conversion.

Compare the engine number on the block to the number on the firewall, that should tell you if it's the original engine or not.
