What is standard AE82 twinky grill?

Mine has the black grill which is common to non twinky AE82s. Is this standard on the Twinky?
I have seen heaps of Twinkys with the colour coded criss-cross type grill and wondered whether that was the standard grill.

I am in Sydney so I dont think it would be worth the hassle.
Correct me if I am wrong but wouldnt a Sprinter grill be from an AE86 rather than AE82?

The base model (had no designation) , the SE, and the TwinCam had the 3 slat grill. Only the TC was body colour, the others were black- unpainted. CS and CS-X (and a couple of limited editions, like 'Spirit') had the eggcrate grill (black) with the 2 side bits in fake chrome. 'Imitation TC' people painted these grills body colour.
The early ones (are they AE80 ?) with the short headlights all had the same grill. It was black and had lots of horizontal slats)- none painted.
From Tims house of useless information

I believe there was an update to the AE82 mid-life when the grill changed to the egg-crate type...

That was early on. April '86 I think. The same time that the front parking lights actually wrapped around into the guard.

Yeah funny I was looking at an AE82 yesterday morning and noticed that some have wrap around blinkers on the bumper and some don't... Speaking of AE82 bumpers.... does anyone happen to have one lying about that I could borrow for half a day or so?
