what size speakers in front of corolla csi 1992

hey, i was wondering what size speakers( 4inch 5, 6 or what) are in the front of a corolla csi 1992. Are they in the door or under the dash.
And do you know the same for a 93 nissan pulsar?
thanx, i am buying some car audio before i get a car, stupid i know, but i have my reasons...........

ok.. this is what you can get into each car in the stock locations without very much bother at all.....
AE92: 4"
N14 Pulsar: 6" - you will need to remove the original speaker which is a 4x6" oval speaker in a 6.5" metal case-thingy. With some 6/6.5" speakers you may have to bash a little metal with a hammer to get the speaker to sit flush.

ok thanks, are they both in the doors?
And would it be hard to fit 5inch or 6inch speakers in the toyota???

The toyota ones are under the dash. I don't know if anything larger than 4" would fit under there, maybe 5" would fit, but it would be squeeze. If you wanted 6" you could build your own custom door pods, which many have done.

You'll only get 4" speakers into the under dash areas without a lot of hacking around. Have seen plenty of 6" speakers mounted on the front bottom corner of the doors but need some metal cut away and a spacer between the speaker and door.
