Fuel Station DAMPER ?? !! Mon, 01 March 2004 15:55 Go to next message
IT's that thingy on the fuel rail (gx60) 1G-GTE with a screw on it. Looks like a mini fuel regulator nearer to firewall, What the heck is it for ??

The local toyota mech. gave it that fancy name. 'Fuel Station Damper'

Anyone please help.

cheers

That would be "fuel pulsation damper", and it does exactly that - dampens the fuel pressure pulses caused by the injectors opening and closing.

Any difference to what exactly? Are you experiencing problems related to fuel pressure pulsation? If you're not sure, don't touch it!
