Power Mirrors

Hi,
I'm looking to put some power mirrors on my RA23, but I haven't really seen any that mount in the correct place. Most cars with power mirrors mount them up in the corner of the doors glass. Using these would not only look stupid, but I don't think it would work too well anyway.
I'm wondering if anyone has seen a car with power mirrors that actually mounts them just below the window on the door, just like an RA23 and most other older cars. If you have seen one, let me know the make and model so I can hunt one down.
Cheers,
Ryan

i don't think you would find anything that would look good and suit an old celica and be powered - not really enough room for motors. maybe try searching for power mirror conversions for old fords like XC as many people use the ford bullet mirrors on celicas

Alternativly buy a cheap pair of Kmart mirrors (I think they suit the early celicas well) and pull the guts out of another set of mirrors (ie later model Celica, Magna or other small mirrored car) and convert your own I'm about 1/2 way through trying to work it out at the moment. Alittle fiddly but it looks as though it may be successful. still thinking about indicators in there as well

try a search on ebay.
have seen at leats three sets of original power mirrors for these cars there in the last twelve months. always thought they would be cool for someone with a 2l celica
