well ive got a ae92 levin but its basically the same suspension $$$ wise a good start is a rear adj swaybar.. this helps to get the rear oversteering in corner if you havent got them already get strut braces then go for new springs and shocks poly bushes for caster etc and probably the first thing is a good set of tyres.. i cant complain about the toyo TS-1s im using at the moment

I only have stock alloys and crap tyres for now and its got the stock strut brace. I need to replace the front shockies as they are floating with the fairies. Can you get a back strut brace for the Twin Cam AE82?? What brands are good at low cost say $800??? I might be able to get a set of 4 lowered kings springs second hand for $100. Is that to cheap to be true???

I'm running king springs with uprated KYB shocks, all at standard ride height.
AE82 twin cam front struts and hubs, rear AE92 struts and hubs (cause of the disk setup)
But i have found my dream set up...
http://www.dmshocks.com/docs/dms50.html
Durmond Motor Sport do 50mm shocks for AE82's (the list of modles they do is on the site)
Now all i have to do is save up the cash!
Of course, this still needs some sway bars set up right...

I think if i had the initial choice all over again, i would have saved up for a set of coil overs right from the word go.
Over standard, the Kings are an improvment for sure! Nothing too radical, but you notice it on the twisty roads. I'm still running standard ride height tho (i do a bit of off roading in the AE82) so the lowered ones may be better.
Best would be to meet up with someone who has Kings on there car, and compare.
Craig.
