Guys I was sittin at the lights, here in Newcastle, when this old lump of a falcon '80-'85 rocks up next to me. He starts revvin it and looking over at me with his poof mate. Sadly, my AW11 is only a 4AGE and not a ZE. Noticing the lights were ready to go green, I bought the revs up to about 3500rpm. they went green and my little AW11 launched. It would have been an awesome sight.
I gave it a good bit of first gear and then into second. The whole time glancing to the right to see where the lump was but he never came past my side window and then into second he was gone. There was a chance for a run at the next set of lights, but he sat back out of sight.
Go the AW11's !!! Dont know if any other aw11 owners notice that every "Its one of dem damn sportscars dear" type of commodore/ford farkin driving hicks want a peice of the pie?
