Do tyre valve caps fall off?

All my tyre caps are missing. Do they fall of or has some fucker stolen them? I went on some dirt roads on the holidays and was wondering if the bumpy roads might jiggle them lose.
They were nice alloy caps (not flashy anodised ones though) and I hate having to replace things people steal.
Sorry I know it is hardly grounds for a rant but I had to.

I hate kids... Who the hell invented them?
If it was a kid that stole them, why did he take all 4?

The little fucker must have been looking at my wheels pretty close up because they were a dark grey colour and didn't stand out at all.

Hook up an electric rotary couling to pass a current through the caps and you'll find them where you left them as well as the fucker who tried to steal them

I still have my nice black plastic ones.
I'm annoyed a little that I still have them.
Arn't they bling enough for you you stupid thieves? I really thought that the new fad was anything tasteless.

Those are the ones I had. They were kinda hexagonal in shape and had BBS on the top.

I had the standard black plastic ones on my wheels, but sprayed them with silver paint to match the wheels. Then one day, some moron stole 2 of them in the Uni car park. Dammit! They were PLASTIC.

Ive been through a couple of sets of metalic valves, always lose them in car parks when in the western suburbs.
I tighten them with pliers, that seems to keep the thieving westie fucks at bay.

What we need to do is invent a tyre cap that has barbs on it so anyone who tries to remove it without gloves or a pair of pliers gets their fingers ripped to shreds.
