Hey People,
I'm trying to crank over an out-of-car 7MGE for a compression test. I want to run jumper leads from another car to the starter motor of the 7MGE engine, but I'm not sure which wires to connect. There appears to be a thick wire mounted on the casing, and a light gauge wire and plug which slots into the solenoid. Thanks for any help.

Battery positive to the large pole terminal that would normall connect to the battery, earth to the body of the starter or block. Then exite the starter and weeee.
