Progressive rate lowered springs.

I am looking for lowered springs for my Cressida and am unable to find a company that makes progressive springs for the Cressida (only linear).
Pedders have stopped making them for the MX83. Kings make only linear, Aurora make only linear. I don't know who else based locally would have such items. Any ideas?

most of kings ARE progressive. the rears not so much as the fronts, but they are still a progressive spring. i found the exact opposite of your problem - i found it very hard to get off the shelf linear items...

Really? I was told otherwise. Are they labelled as a linear spring but behave progressive-like? Is that what you are saying?
Anyhow... another brand has been suggested. I don't know how to spell it though --> Dolbinsons???

Whiteline stock nothing for the Cressida (I gave them a ring).
Dolbinson have confirmed that they have linear only.

nup, progressive
front goes from about 185 to 215lbs
rear is 210 to 235lbs
from memory anyway.
the rear are less progressive to look at (they almost look linear) whereas the front are most definitely progressive

Anyone looked into the K-mac dual rate struts. Looks like a bit of a marketing ploy to me.

I have been told that progressives can be unpredictable when you load them up.

The king spring website catalogue claims that they are not a progressive rate spring.
Ive got a set of fronts in the boot that i will go double check to clarify this.

You and some other guy on the Cressida forums told me this about a day too late. I ordered my springs yesterday after giving up finding progressive ones.
I called K-Mac today and they said they do anything and everthing.
I can't cancel my order until after the long weekend.

You did well to come up with the name.
I will try and cancel my other order and get the K-Mac springs. I get to chose exactly what height and stiffness if I go with them. They cost $165 an end. And its next day delivery anywhere in Australia for $20.
