It is one of the few new age designs that I like. A lot of new designs seem kinda ugly to me. This is awesome.

but it seems rather hungry on fuel ????

300Kw, 52-litre tank... the Soarer (for comparison) has a 78=litre tank and I pull approx. 500~550km/tank... my friend CIvic pulls 600km out of a 50-litre tank... 700km out of a 52-litre tank AND producing 300Kw is friggin impressive

Those are very impressive figures... They are almost too impressive.
I'd like to know how they calculated them. Especially when you have a hybrid car. They may calculate fuel consumption whilst running the car almost entirely on the electric motor and then run it on the petrol one for the power and speed figures.
I however don't really care because the thing looks so damn beautiful I'd buy one regardless.

Looks very nice and those specs sound impressive. The front end reminds me of the RX8, and the all-glass canopy and gull wing doors remind me of the Toyota Sera.
All very nice but where is a production car?

I like I like.
I think the performance figures are about right.
FYI, you don't manualy switch between electric and petrol power. The car does it for you. If I remember correctly, these Hybrid cars get about twice to three times the fuel economy of similar sized/powered cars. So seeing a performance car getting that kinda economy looks about right to me. Of course, if you race the damned thing your economy will go out the window, 'cuz the electric motor only helps when your cruising.
If I remember correctly.
