 BEAMS 3S-GE

Heya,
I was wondering what the BEAMS 3S-GE is, from what I can gather utilising the "search" tool. The BEAMs 3S-GE has Dual VVTi, is that the only difference?(thats a big difference mind you). If only I had a BEAMS written on the rocker cover of the 3S-GE in the MR2 I'm buying  . Whats BEAMS stand for anyway?

do a google search for "altezza rs200" that will give you engine specs,
do a bit more digging and you find that it has higher CR, lighter internals etc, and is very peaky, but great output from a factory motor. you'd be hard pressed to match it with a lesser 3SG, unless you fit similar light internals, and by that time you have blown the initial cost of the BEMAS out of the water

heh heh, if i had a heavier car, i wouldn't mind one either.. engine is too heavy imo..
i would really like to get my hands on one to disassemble, and see exactly what is inside, measure bits etc.... get some ideas and all.
