admin edit Im just making this a sticky for the next 5 days so this notice can get a bit of exposure. it will be unstickfied after the entry due date. admin edit sorry to raid the tech thread but the Toyota Nationals Entry forms are due in in 5 days time And i believe a lot of people intend coming and have missed the events thread .And havnt yet put in an entry form entry forms here http://home.kooee.com.au/celicamad/Entry%20Form.pd f 38 rooms are booked at the Matilda motor in and most rooms have 2 or more people in them . Yet only a handfull of entry forms have been recieved . Great see you there thanks admin O.K apparantly quite a few people have been caught short with the deadline .As the only Place we actually notified the entry closing date was on the actual entry form So seeing toymods have given our event such strong support over last few years we are yet again going to bend the rules You have 7 days until WEDNESDAY MARCH 17. we hate to sound so pushy but that allows us to give 3 weeks notice to the t shirt guy and catering mob(its only 4 weeks to easter) So as of MARCH 17 you will not be able to enter should be a great weekend and with the amount of accomodation that has been booked its going to be easily the biggest event ive ever seen there are about 5 rooms left at the Matilda of about 45 rooms(02 6882 3944)so be quick if you havnt booked yet [Updated on: Tue, 09 March 2004 21:31] [Report message to a moderator]

I too got my confirmation the other day... but alas. I've gone from being a solid YES to a firm MAYBE. The engine and gearbox go in for transplant this week. It will be done by Easter, but it won't be run-in. Thus the trip out there and back (not to mention the drags) won't be good for the engine in it's infancy. by the way... if your coming and havent got a room yet... unfortunatly the matilda motor inn and most of dubbo is booked out however there are a few places that still have rooms.... here's two that are only about a block or so away from the matilda... Gallop Inn 95 Cobra St, Dubbo (02) 6882 7888 Country Leisure 86 Cobra St, Dubbo (02) 6882 3988 even if you aren't entering your car its a great excuse for a weekend away and a chance to check out some sweet cars cya there! Actually that's the perfect opportunity to run-in your engine. Highway cruising puts very little load on the engine so there's no danger of breaking it.

Dammit. I don't want to thread-hijack, but I DO want some clarification... I got Norbie here saying to have little load when running it in, and ed-ma61 in another thread telling me to flog it. What gives? Who is right here? Obviously we have our own opinions as we have the right to them, but for shits sake can we have a bit of continuity? Well my car is still in the workshop no interrior only bog and filler on the car the engine is no no cooler or exhuast or ecu in it yet car should b ready like 7th or 8th april wont have time to run it in at all and its a new 4agze running like 18psi i hope there wont b any stuff up when i drive it to dubbo for its first run just have to c what happens but as for drags u can count me out of that guys show pony weekend for me. Same here dude, except I don't know if I'll be dragging or not. Have you actually paid to enter the drag event? When is the latest you can withdraw if your ride isn't up to spec?

Mine will be in run-in mode as well, so I'm glad I won't be the only one. Very Happy
