What is my car worth?

I was thinking about getting full compo for my car, but I was curious what it was actually worth. If I were to put it up for sale on the forums here, what do you guys think it would go for?
It's a red MA61 with a 7MGTE conversion. Some of you might have seen it before - it's Ray's old beast. And no, don't get your hopes up - I ain't selling 
For those of you who haven't seen it before, it's pretty damn tidy. I'm not going to say "immaculate" or "best in Sydney/NSW/Australia", because everyone says that rubbish and it means nothing. Suffice to say it's very straight and tidy, and no expense was spared on the conversion.
Rough ballpark figure? I've seen 1jz converted ma61's go for 10k+, and 1jz converted ma70's going for 13k+. Not sure what I can expect though.

what an enthusiast will buy it for, and what an insurance company will insure it for are 2 totally different things.
I'd say around $10k, maybe a little more. If the insurance company will agree to that, take it!

You can almost always find someone to insure it for a reasonable price, but make sure you ask how much the eccess is, as you will find that it is probably a couple of grand. And ask if the insurance includes salvage rights, as I am sure you would want to take the good bits off the wreck if you had an accident
